Ogni borsa è annodata e rifinita a mano in Italia, una alla volta.

Hello, I’m Irena. I make every one of these bags.

Macramé bags, made with time and care.

In my Italian workshop I knot the outer weave and sew every lining, one bag at a time. No two pieces come out exactly alike — that is the beauty of handmade work.

Inside Vietri

One knot at a time. Then everything takes shape.

Scroll: the fragments move closer and rebuild Vietri, echoing Irena’s work as she shapes the bag knot by knot and finishes every detail by hand.

The collection

Colours, knots and linings. Always the same hands.

Each design has its own combination of colour, weave and lining. Open the published product pages, view the photographs and choose the one that feels most like you.

Behind every bag

Two crafts, brought together in one bag.

First comes the macramé: hours of knots built with steady tension. Then Irena cuts and sews the lining for that individual piece. Inside and out carry the same signature.

The process

Knot after knot, with no shortcuts.

  1. 01

    Choosing the cord

Colour, diameter and feel are selected for the design.

  2. 02

    Knotting

The weave grows one knot at a time from the original pattern.

  3. 03

    Lining and sewing

Irena cuts, sews and fits the inner pouch.

  4. 04

    Finishing

Handle, strap, label and final quality check.

Material, hands, time

Every Iré begins with a thread.

Cotton, colour and tension are chosen with care. Irena then shapes every knot one by one and sews the lining for the individual bag.

Spedizione puntuale. La borsa Sorrento Limone ha colori estivi favolosi, ma il manico avvolto in corda è un po' rigido all'inizio.
